Ginger Harris and her sister, Jean O'Connell, have been making dolls and specialty clothing for over nine years. At the beginning they concentrated their efforts on hand-made clothing for infants, using dolls only as mannequins for their children's line of clothing. Much to their surprise, the mannequins themselves started to sell, when one day a customer bought one because it looked just like her grandchild!

Wanting to explore a talent she never knew she had, Ginger first modeled some dolls after her own grandchildren. The dolls came out beautiful, and amazingly similar to her real munchkins, and from then on Lil' Folks Dolls became a reality! Today, Lil' Folks Dolls has grown and developed a strong reputation with both, tourists and locals of the St. Augustine, Florida area. Having crafted more than 400 look-alike dolls that have "brought to life" children from all walks of life, Lil' Folks Dolls has gained the attention of local newspapers and national organizations.
