At Lil'Folks Dolls, we specialize in unique, look-alike dolls that are made in the image and likeness of someone you love. These handmade replicas make the perfect gift for the holidays, birthdays, or any special occasion throughout the year. As you can see from the pictures on this page, our dolls look very much like the children whom they are crafted after, and we take enormous pride in the finished product!   

Making Our Dolls

Each of our look-alike dolls is lovingly handcrafted from porcelain-like hard vinyl, with cloth bodies. All we need from you is a photo of the child that will serve as a model, along with some descriptive information, and we'll take care of everything else. The photograph may be in color, black and white, a snapshot, or even your favorite studio photo. Almost any picture will work, and all pictures will be returned along with the doll in 6-8 weeks.

How can we match the pictures so closely? We're glad you asked! In crafting our look-alike dolls, we have over 25 different facial expressions to choose from, as well as a wide variety of hair colors and styles. Since we also make our own clothing, we can usually match the clothes in the picture, or custom make a matching set of clothes for the doll and child. Boys can be dressed in overalls, tee shirts, and baseball caps, while girls can wear a pretty blouse or dress. After careful planning and a lot of hard work, the end result is a look-alike doll that will evoke the happiest memories, and please even the most discriminating customers!
